FAQs

Do you take insurance?

In short, no, we do not take insurance. We function as an out of network provider to allow us to have more freedom in the treatment of our patients. We can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement for out of network physical therapy benefits or to put towards a deductible. You can also use Health Savings Accounts or Flexible Spending Accounts to make treatment more affordable. Did you know that many health insurance plans need you to meet your deductible before they will cover treatments such as physical therapy? This means that no matter where you go, you are footing the bill for all treatments until your deductible is met, so you might as well see a specialist and make your treatments count.

Do I need a referral?

One of the benefits of being an out of network provider is that you don’t need any referral or authorization to come see us. It is always a good idea to check with your insurance to see if you need anything in particular prior to coming for them to reimburse the sessions, usually they don’t require anything.

Do you take credit cards?

Yes, we use the Square app which accepts any US-issued and most international-issued magstripe or chip card bearing a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB or UnionPay International logo. There is a small fee for credit card use. We also accept cash and Venmo.

How should I dress for my session?

Dress comfortably in thinner clothing that will allow your therapist to assess your posture more clearly.
